Social Insurance Premium (0544)
Definition
This infotype is used to store the monthly compensation amount for the social insurance types medical insurance and national pension.
After this infotype is created, you use the monthly compensation amount to determine the premium for social insurance type in payroll calculation. The value that is used in payroll calculation should be within the validity period of this infotype record.
Structure
To maintain this infotype, you need to maintain the Monthly compensation amount differently :
· For medical insurance, this value is usually determined when running the payroll, so no entry needs to be maintained here. However, in exceptional cases, such as for a new employee, if there is no payroll result before the due date for acquisition, the employer can use this amount.
· For the national pension, this value is determined periodically by the National Pension Corporation (NPC).
The monthly compensation amount is derived from the monthly standard compensation amount. The corresponding premium grade formulated by each association is within 2-8% of the monthly standard compensation.
