Access Rule
With the aid of the access rule you specify how the system should access certain data. You can use index tables (material and partner index) or have the system directly read the tables (direct access). If the access is via an index, the runtime is improved during the allocation.

When using a specific index, you should maintain the corresponding index key field in the ARun selection.

Partner index: Partner from/to, Partner Function (AG)
If you do not maintain the appropriate index field in the selection, it could lead to long runtimes, since the complete master data table (material master, customer master) must be read.
In the application of the allocation run and in the IMG you can define your own display variant with certain fields and preassigned entries, which you can enter in the access rule as a default value. Every time you start your allocation type, this variant is called and you can use your predefined field catalog.
