Accessing Sales Orders from the ARun
Optimizer
When examining orders in the ARun Optimizer after an allocation run, you may find you need to check some information in the sales order or to make changes to it. You can branch directly from the ARun Optimizer screen to the order, make your changes, and return to the same location in the ARun Optimizer. The system automatically refreshes the display to include the changed data.
Depending on how the levels and paths have been configured, the system displays a column with the sales order number.
· Clicking on the sales order brings up the order in display mode.
· Choosing the order from the Optimizer results and using:
Goto ® Document ® Change brings up the order in change mode
You can display sales order from any level in ARun Optimizer by clicking on the order number. However, you can only make changes to the sales order from a level where the sales order number has been configured. Also, you can only make changes if you have accessed the sales order using the menu path Goto ® Document ® Change. Once you are in the sales order itself, you can change anything you wish, including the material and schedule lines.
If you change a field that requires available-to-promise (ATP) or order scheduling, the system automatically branches to the appropriate transactions. Once you save the changes, the system determines whether the allocation group for this order has changed; if so, the system will move the order or schedule lines involved to the appropriate allocation group, or create a new allocation group if necessary. It will also update the sum of the assignments for the current allocation group. Sums displayed for the other allocation groups in the ARun Optimizer list are not updated at time of order change unless you refresh the quantities.

Changing data in the sales document could lead to a deallocation process in sales order maintenance. This would impact the subtotals in the ARun Optimizer level and path as well.
