Process documentation Managing CSR Stock Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

Customer service representatives (CSRs) will probably use the Stock Management Report (/AFS/CSR_STOCK_INIT) on a daily basis to:

·        Take free available stock from inventory and put it into CSR stock for their own use (referred to as “CSR stock”)

·        Return unused stock to free available inventory

·        Reassign some of their stock to another CSR (customer service representative) if needed

Process Flow

...

       1.      Access the Stock Management Report (/AFS/CSR_STOCK_INIT).

       2.      On the selection screen, choose the stock source and stock destination. For example, if you want to take stock from inventory, choose Free available stock as the source and CSR stock of user as the destination.

Note

If you select Free available stock as the source and CSR stock of user as the destination but do not enter a user name, the system will assume you want the stock to be moved to your own area; otherwise you can enter a user name to transfer the stock to someone else. If Free available stock is the source, then you must enter at least one combination of material and plant in the table.

If you select CSR stock of user as the source and Free available stock as the destination and also leave the entire table blank, this will clear out all of your stock and put it back into inventory. Likewise if you indicate another CSR as the destination, this transfers your entire stock to the other CSR.

You must enter the material and plant for the stock you want to transfer.

¡        If you leave the Grid value field blank, all grid values of that material in that plant will be selected.

¡        If you leave the Quantity field blank, the entire free available stock of that material in that plant will be selected

Example

If you enter a quantity of 50 but no grid value, the system will select 50 of each grid value (for example, 50 small, 50 large, and so on). Likewise, if you enter grid value XL but no quantity, the system will select the entire stock of material in grid value XL in that plant. So normally you would enter both a grid value and a quantity.

       3.      Choose Execute. The system displays a list of materials matching your criteria, along with quantities for each grid value.

If a quantity shown is less than you specified, it is because there was insufficient stock in inventory. You cannot change the stock quantities in the list

       4.      Select one or more lines, and then choose Move stock.

       5.      When the system asks you to confirm the stock posting, choose Yes. Any lines you did not select will not be transferred.

Result

After posting, the system returns to the selection screen and displays a Stock posted message.

You can move more stock if you wish by entering more selection criteria.
