Restrictions Compared to Rescheduling in the R/3-Standard

In the R/3 standard system you can also run rescheduling in the simulation mode. After terminating a simulated rescheduling, you receive the same list of results as you would after an actual rescheduling. Changes in the delivery data or delivery quantities are displayed but are not executed in the documents.
This is not possible in the AFS system.
Field Unconfirmed documents required
For rescheduling in the R/3 standard system, the field Unconfirmed documents required is available as an additional selection option. You can use this field to determine, for example, that documents that have not yet been checked or confirmed by the availability check are included in the worklist for rescheduling. Unconfirmed documents in the R/3 standard system are, for example, all blocked sales documents such as those in which delivery or billing blocks have been set manually, or documents for which the credit check was not successful.
In the AFS system, on the other hand, the availability check takes place even for special sales documents such as these. There is no differentiation here between normal and blocked sales documents.
In the AFS system a document is only unconfirmed if several users access the exact same material at the exact same time during the order entry. In this case, the availability check runs for only one of the documents and the others remain unconfirmed.
The AFS system always considers unconfirmed documents during rescheduling, regardless of the selection criteria.
The probability of documents remaining unconfirmed in the AFS system is relatively low. When different sales documents are entered with the same material, even a fraction of a second is a sufficient time interval for the availability check to be run in each individual document. Accordingly, the number of unconfirmed documents per material is minimal. It is therefore very rare that a selection of unconfirmed documents for a material would have any results and would therefore lead to a worklist for rescheduling.
Due to this fact, the field Unconfirmed documents required has been deactivated for rescheduling in the AFS system.
