With the AFS function ‚FERT generator‘ you can automatically create AFS materials that have been dynamically configured. Generally it is necessary to cost the newly generated materials, to determine a standard price for the inventory valuation.

With help of an indicator in the initial screen of the FERT generator you can determine that all generated materials should be written into one table.

You can then select the materials of this table for a costing run. For this you must set the indicator in the initial screen of the selection processing of the costing run. Please note that in this case further selections are not possible. For this costing run, you can only select the materials of the FERT generator table.

After the materials are costed you can delete the table with the generated materials. To do so, choose the corresponding function in the AFS application menu (Accounting -> Product cost planning).
