Delivery data

For the processing of deliveries with AFS materials additional AFS-specific tab pages are available (AFS item overview and AFS picking). Similar to the structure of the sales documents, item details at grid value level can also be displayed in the shipping documents. The following data can be checked:

Delivery document types and item categories

Choosing the delivery types and item categories makes the control of the shipping processing flexible and transaction-dependent. You can make AFS-specific settings in Customizing for each delivery type and item category. (for instance, control of the AFS value-added services). For AFS materials you basically differentiate between main item and batch split item in the delivery. The batch split item in the delivery contains information from the schedule lines of the sales order (see Structure of Sales Documents). During the delivery a batch split item is created for each grid value. For batch split items the item category determination in deliveries is controlled with the use indicator of the item category CHSP – batch split.

Note

To avoid possible inconsistencies in the billing we recommend that you assign the same delivery item category to the main and batch split item (for example TAN – normal item).

Origin of the data (copy control)

When entering a delivery, the data is copied from the preceding documents. The copying of AFS-specific data during the delivery processing is controlled in the corresponding copy control of the delivery. For this see also AFS-specific control elements in the copy control

AFS Restrictions

AFS does not support the creation of a delivery without reference to a preceding document (LO delivery w/o reference).
