Results of a Batch Run in Simulation Reports
Use
Using the simulation reports, you evaluate the results of the
simulation runs you have executed in the background. Simulation reports assist you in the selection of the optimal version of your source allocation run. They take a wide variety of criteria into consideration, such as the AFS quotas and the capacity situation.
Prerequisites
The simulation reports evaluate data from source allocation runs. Before you can evaluate and compare results with the help of the simulation reports, you must already have
sort and vendor ranking criteria for versions of your simulation run
executed simulation runs in the background
Features
To display the results of your source allocation run, choose Logistics ®
Materials Management ®
Source Allocation ®
Lists and Reports. The following reports are available in the group box Simulation Reports:
- Assignment after Simulation Run
This report describes and compares the results of all the actively saved versions of a batch run. Each version is displayed with the selection criteria and the assigned vendors.
- Not assign p.r. after Simulation Run
This report lists for each batch run and in this case for each version, the purchase requisitions that have not been assigned.
- Warning and Error List
This report gives the reasons why for each batch run and in this case for each version, purchase requisitions could not be assigned to a vendor.
- Quota after simulation
For each import quota a comparison is created between agreed, old (status before simulation) and new (status after simulation) quota quantities. To evaluate the quotas, you have to have set the indicator Save quota data when executing the simulation runs (Source Allocation Simulation).
- Capacity Consumption after simulation
This reports depicts the vendor capacity consumption for each batch run and each version.
- Capacity Reduction after Simulation
For each capacity level or capacity node a comparison is created between agreed, old (status before simulation) and new (status after simulation) total and overload capacities.
- Capacity Utilization after Simulation
This report displays the vendor capacity utilization after the simulation run. The system can display a specific level, all capacity levels, or only the vendor level. The system displays the total and overload capacities, the consumed total and overload capacities, as well as the free and exceeded capacities.

To evaluate the capacity situation, you have to have set the indicator Save capacity data when executing the simulation runs (Source Allocation Simulation).
