Function documentation Value-Added Services in Multi-Store Orders Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Often a company orders goods for its stores, but has them first delivered to its distribution center to apply value-added services.

A multi-store order in the AFS system enables you to identify the goods so that certain materials can be sent in a certain quantities to individual stores. Upon request of your customer, you can even specify in the MSO document what type of value-added service the distribution center is to apply.

Example

Your customer orders different styles of jeans and T-shirts for their stores. You are to deliver the goods to a distribution center in such a way that the employees there can tell how to distribute this delivery to the individual stores. The distribution center is to sew in the customer's trade mark in all jeans and T-shirts and attach price tags. In certain stores these items are offered for the first time. Therefore, the price is to be lower in these than in the other stores. You are to let the distribution center know which value-added services to apply to the materials, depending on the store for which they are labeled.

You enter the desired value-added services, depending on the ship-to party, in the MSO itself. You can either use conditions or enter the desired value-added services manually.

Features

Entering VAS data in a multi-store order is at first no different than that in other sales orders. Here you can control the VAS data via conditions as well.

In the AFS system a separate hierarchy type (MSO) is available. You can create value-added services based on a combination of sales area/ship-to party. You can also define your own condition types and keys in Customizing.

If you enter value-added services manually in a multi-store order, you have the option (with the corresponding selection) to specify VAS data

When exploding the MSO II document, the system copies the VAS data into the individual documents.

Caution

Do not create items in a multi-store orders for VAS materials. This leads to problems when transferring the data to the individual documents. You do, however, have the option of creating items for VAS materials in the individual sales orders after exploding the MSO II.
