Definition of Bills of Material and Routings
Use
Bills of material and routings make up the quantity structure of a product. The product costing determines material and production costs of the product based on this quantity structure.
Features
The definition of the quantity structure of an AFS material (product) enables you to define grid and category-dependent specifications. These specifications can also be cost-relevant.
For the definition of the bills of material of AFS materials, the following costing-relevant functions are available:

The production operations are often different depending on the category produced. You can therefore create several alternative routings for one material with the AFS system.
In the routing header of an AFS material you can specify whether or not the routing alternative should be used in the production of a certain category.
