The AFS-specific pricing is based on the standard condition technique and has been enhanced to cover the special requirements of the textile and footwear industry. For example, you can group grid values and create condition records according to these groups. To do this, you can use AFS-specific condition types. Based on the R/3 condition technique the following illustration shows which factors influence the AFS pricing in the AFS sales and distribution processing.
Price determination indicator
A price determination indicator is assigned to the AFS material in the AFS sales view of the material master . You can choose the following price determination indicators:
The price determination indicator is used for AFS-specific condition types in the pricing procedure.
Condition types
There are predefined AFS-specific condition types available that facilitate grid value-dependent or date-dependent pricing.

If you create new condition types for your specific requirements, these condition types are first created in the SD standard Customizing. If you want the newly defined condition types or existing conditions types to be grid value-dependent (for example VPRS – condition type (cost)) or date-dependent, you must flag them accordingly in AFS Customizing.

Grid value control data
If you want to define prices at grid value group level, you must assign price groups to the material master using grid control data.
AFS Restrictions
Pricing reports, evaluations, and analyses for conditions at grid value level are not supported.
