During a source allocation run, you can check for political restrictions, as well as for customer or vendor restrictions.

You can specify restrictions in Customizing which exclude goods movements

• between certain countries.
  In this manner you map politically motivated import and export restrictions in the system.
• between certain vendors and customers.

To do this choose in Customizing Materials Management ® Purchasing ® AFS Source Allocation ® Define Political Restrictions and enter the restrictions and their temporal validity.

If you check for political restrictions during a source allocation run, the system does not assign the corresponding vendors from the specified countries. The system not only considers the country and vendor/customer relations you specified, but also the validity period of the restrictions.
