With this function you can add an item with one or more schedule lines to a large number of already existing sales documents.

Use a reference item from a reference sales document as a template for the item to be generated. You can change the reference item directly in the dialog. The reference document may, however, be one of the orders to be processed. The system logs the generating process so that you can check the changes that have been made to the sales documents.

• This function works for AFS materials as well as for standard materials.
• You can only generate new items and schedule lines in open orders.
• In case of an error, the new item will not be generated and the system will not save the sales document you just processed. The system then creates an error log so that you can analyze the error that occurred.
• You can process the following types of sales documents with this function:

• Requests for quotations
• Quotations
• Order
• Contracts
• Complaints (returns, credit and debit memo requests)
