Integration of Transactional Data - Sales
Order
You use this function to map the SAP CRM sales order data structure to the SAP AFS-specific data structure and transfer sales orders from SAP CRM to SAP AFS.
By providing the transfer of transactional data, you do not need to create the same order again in the ERP system. Data exchange scenario Z is being used for the order transfer. Once an order is transferred to the AFS system, it can only be managed in the AFS system and not in the CRM system.
For more information, see SAP notes 541113, 642944 and 705200.
Once the order is saved in the ERP system, you can directly process it, similar to the orders created in SAP AFS. The status of the subsequent processes like delivery and invoice are transferred back to SAP CRM.
· You have maintained the standard system integration of CRM to the backend AFS ERP system.
· You must have completed all relevant customizing for sales order creation in SAP CRM as well as in SAP AFS-ERP system.
· You must have transferred master data from the ERP-AFS system to the SAP CRM system.
· You must have activated the scenario Z in the SAP AFS system and maintained the required parameters in the table CRMPAROLTP, for the sales order transfer from SAP CRM.
· If the sales order type and item category used in SAP CRM is different from that of AFS, then the mapping between them must be maintained in the AFS ERP system.
¡ To maintain Customizing for Sales Order Type, choose Logistics ® General ® AFS Interface ® AFS Interface to CRM ® Maintain Sales Order Mapping.
¡ To maintain Customizing for Item Category, choose Logistics ® General ® AFS Interface ® AFS Interface to CRM ® Maintain Item Category Mapping.
This function involves the following activities:
· Maintain all the master data and Customizing for sales order processing.
For more information on grid products, see SAP library (help.sap.com) of SAP CRM under mySAP Customer Relationship Management ® Components and Functions ® Sales ® Sales Transactions ® Sales Order ® Processing Grid Products in the Sales Order.
· Create the sales order in the SAP CRM, if SAP CRM is connected to the backend ERP system.
You can do it directly in CRM online or as part of mobile sales and then downloaded to CRM system. But the follow-on processes like delivery and delivery based invoice are not possible in the CRM system.
· Save the sales order without any errors in SAP CRM.
It is then transferred to the AFS ERP system. The system does the mapping to create the AFS sales order and transfers back the status of the follow-on process.
Item mapping
In the figure below, the item 10 in SAP CRM is the main item, and item 11 is the configurable sub-item.
