Function documentation Planned Independent Requirements Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This function transfers the planned independent requirements (PIR) data for AFS material.

Prerequisites

·        You have set up the connection between SAP APO and SAP AFS.

·        You have maintained distribution definition for planned independent requirements distribution in SAP SCM (for forecast, transfer from demand planning to SAP AFS).

·        You have checked the business transaction event (BTE) application indicator for ND-APO in SAP AFS.

You have made the settings in Customizing by going to Integration with Other SAP Components, and choosing Advanced Planning and Optimization ® Basic Settings for the Data Transfer  ® Change Transfer  ® Change Transfer for Transaction Data  ® Activate Online Transfer Using BTE.

·        You have maintained planning strategy group as 40 for the AFS material.

·        You have ensured that AFS material (and variants) and plant have already been transferred to SAP APO.
