Use

If there are only minor cost differences for an AFS product at grid-/category level, the product must not be split valuated.

Features

AFS products that are not split valuated can be costed on the basis of one grid value and /or one category value. For this you can use the costing functions of the R/3 Standard system as you do for AFS materials with split valuation.

Prerequisite for the costing is that you have stored a grid value and if possible a stock category for the costing at material level, in the material master of the material to be costed. You can find the corresponding fields in the AFS valuation view.

At the costing the system uses this SKU for the determination and explosion of the quantity structure (BOM and routing). The results of the costing can be selected and released at material level.

Costing without grid value/stock category in the AFS valuation view is not possible.

Costing without split valuation

Note

You can use the costing with and without split valuation mixed. Materials with and without split valuation can be processed in one costing run.
