XI/PI Tracks

You use an XI/PI track (Exchange Infrastructure track) to transport design objects from various Integration Repositories or configuration objects from various Integration Directories.

The following development states exist for the development of XI objects:

● Development

● Consolidation

● Production

An Integration Repository or an Integration Directory exists for each of these states; each repository or directory runs on a separate J2EE instance.
