Procedure documentationPreparing Lifecycle Management of Legacy Data in the RW System

 

In the Retention Warehouse system, provide the audit areas and the ILM policies for the lifecycle management of the data to be transferred from the legacy system.

Procedure

  1. You assign the relevant ILM object types to the audit area. For each assigned ILM object type, you select the tables and fields that you want to be available in the audit area.

  2. For each audit area, create the ILM policies with rules for data retention for the ILM objects.
