 Displaying the Resource Utilization List

Use

On the DS planning board , you can display a resource utilization (load) list. The resource utilization list shows you how heavily loaded selected resources are in the periods displayed. The resource utilization can also be displayed per block .

It is possible to display the resource utilization for the following resources:

  • Multiactivity resourcesund multimixed resources

  • Single-activity resourcesund single-mixed resources

Procedure

  1. Select the resources for which you want to display the resource utilization.

    If you do not select any resources, you can enter resources when invoking the resource utilization.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Evaluations Next navigation step Resource Utilization. End of the navigation path

    You can also invoke this evaluation in the area menu for Production Planning under Start of the navigation path Reporting Next navigation step Order and Resource Reporting.   3. A window appears, in which you can specify your period and view selection.

    Choose a period (such as ‘month’) and specify the representation.

    Select Details for Capacity Requirements, for example, to display detailed information on the composition of the capacity requirements.

  4. Choose Execute . The resource utilization list is displayed.

    Choose Details in the resource utilization list. In the detail view, you see which portions of the capacity requirements are attributable to planned orders, production orders etc. Further criteria according to which capacity requirements are grouped include order priority and status of the activity.
