Canceling Sales Order Creation Using /n
The following section describes what happens when you use /n to cancel the sales order creation.
In the CTP process, components and capacities are visibly reserved for parallel transactions during the sales order creation. This reservation is made before saving the sales order. If you do not save the sales order the system has to reset the reservation of the components and capacities. This means that the procurement elements that have been created temporarily have to be deleted again.
If you deliberately cancel the creation of the sales orders using a function, the system deletes the temporary receipt elements.
If, however, you cancel the transaction using /n, the task handler is activated. The task handler makes sure that the order data from the liveCache is deleted. However, some order data remains on the databasewhich is not relevant to planning.
You can delete this remaining data using the transaction /SAPAPO/OM17.
