Function documentationMass Maintenance of Production Data Structure

You can use this function to update a large volume of production data structure (PDS) master data simultaneously, without having to change individual objects manually. With this function, you can only change the PDS master data; creation of master data is not allowed.

Time-dependent planning parameter (TDPP) values can be changed using the mass maintenance function even if they belong to the active planning version. However, this is not applicable for other parameters.

Caution Caution

  • Since this mass maintenance function directly impacts all selected objects and cannot be undone, it must only be used by experienced users exercising due care.

  • If the PDS is transferred again from SAP ERP in future, any TDPP values changed using mass maintenance are lost.

End of the caution.

To use this function, you must activate the business function SCM-APO, Version Simulation (SCM_APO_VERSION_SIM).
