Deletion of Sales SA Releases and Confirmations You use this report (/SAPAPO/CMDS_DELSCHED_DELETE) to reduce the number of scheduling agreement releases and confirmations that are saved for sales scheduling agreements.
This means that you can delete objects that you no longer need in operative production.
You can choose whether you want to delete releases or confirmations or both.
You can limit the number of SA releases and confirmations that you want to delete using a minimum number or a time period so that for example, only a certain number of confirmations, operative delivery schedules or forecast/preview delivery schedules per sales scheduling agreement (item) are left.
You can combine both selection criteria so that both the time period and the minimum number that you enter are taken into account when the system is determining which objects to delete.
You can first start a
Test Run
, which outputs a list of objects for deletion. If you do not carry out a test run then the objects in question are immediately deleted and the list is output afterwards.
Note
Regardless of the criteria that you enter, the most recently received operative delivery schedule, forecast/preview delivery schedule and the current confirmation are never deleted. The scheduling agreement releases, to which a current confirmation relates, are not deleted.
Releases or confirmations for the sales scheduling agreements in question already exist and these sales scheduling agreements have already been planned with the result that current releases or confirmations also exist.
In the Find Sched. Agreementarea, choose the sales scheduling agreements by choosing a Source Location, Destination Location, Product Number and Sales Organization.
In the Remaining Objects, limit the number of remaining scheduling agreement releases and confirmations using a minimum number or a period of time.
You use the
Days Elapsed
field to define that objects that were created within this time period are not deleted.
For example, if you enter 5, then releases and confirmations from the last five days are not deleted, but any that are older than five days, are deleted.
You use the Number per Object Typefield, to define the minimum number of remaining objects.
For example, if you enter 10 then at least the last ten confirmations, the last ten operative delivery schedules and the last ten forecast/preview delivery schedules are left. All other objects are deleted.
In the
Objects for Deletion
area, choose whether you want to delete scheduling agreement releases or confirmations.
If you choose
Test Run,
then only a list is output which displays how many releases or confirmations will be deleted and to which sales scheduling agreement item they relate.
To start the report choose
, execute.
The system displays a list of the selected scheduling agreement items and the number of objects to be deleted, that is, the number of confirmations, operative delivery schedules and forecast/planning delivery schedules which have been or are going to be deleted.
In the last ten days you have received fifteen operative delivery schedules and eight forecast/planning delivery schedules. In total you have received 100 operative delivery schedules and 100 forecast/planning delivery schedules for the sales scheduling agreement item.
You want to delete superfluous scheduling agreement releases and in the initial screen you enter the following information:
Days Elapsed:
10, so that the scheduling agreement releases from the last ten days are not deleted.
Number per Object Type:
10, so that at least the last ten scheduling agreement releases are not deleted.
Therefore, the deletion report deletes the following scheduling agreement releases:

Because you have received more operative delivery schedules (15) in the time period specified that the minimum number you entered (10) all operative delivery schedules for this time period are retained.
Because you have received fewer forecast/planning delivery schedules (8) in the time period specified that the minimum number you entered (10), the minimum number of forecast/planning delivery schedules is retained.
