Settings for Collaborative Supply and Demand Planning

Use

You can make user settings for an external partner who accesses Collaborative Supply and Demand Planning using a Web browser. You use these settings to determine the layout of the Internet planning book and which options are available for the user.

In the SAP SCM system, from the SAP Easy Access screen choose Start of the navigation path Supply Chain Collaboration Next navigation step Environment Next navigation step Current Settings Next navigation step User Settings for Collaborative Supply and Demand Planning. End of the navigation path

If you enter user * , the settings are valid for all users. If you define additional settings for specific users, these settings overwrite those of the general user.

Prerequisites

You have authorization to maintain user settings (authorization object C_APO_CLPU).

Procedure

Activate the Shuffler

If you want the shuffler functionto be available to the user, set the Activate Shuffler/Setting of Header Information indicator.

The user can use the shuffler to create, change, or delete selections directly in Collaborative Supply and Demand Planning (users can only change or delete selections if they also created them). In addition, the user can load planning data without saving it as a selection. For more information about the function of the shuffler, which is similar to the shuffler function in interactive Demand Planning and in Supply Network Planning (SNP) , see the SNP documentation Interactive Supply Network Planning Desktop .

Unlike the shuffler in interactive planning, selection management is not available to the user. This means that the selection is automatically assigned to the user and is saved directly under the user.

Display or Change Modes

Specify in the Display Mode field whether collaborative supply and demand planning is to be started in the change mode or the display mode when the user calls it. You can also specify whether the user can switch to change mode or if only the display mode is available.

Graphic Display

Set the Display Graphic indicator.

In the Internet planning book, the user can show and hide a graphical display of the data by choosing Display Graphic .

Entering Notes

Set the Activate Notes Function indicator.

In the Internet planning book, the user can then go to the note mode choosing Switch On Note Mode.

Exporting Data

In the Data Export field, specify whether or not the user can export data, and if so, how (Microsoft Excel or other software).

In the Internet planning book, the user can then export data by choosing Download Planning Book.

Column Width

Specify a value in the Width of Fixed Column field.

With this setting you can adjust the column width for the fixed columns in an Internet planning book (key figure, characteristic, and unit of measure) if you have display problems, for example.

Header Row as Footer Row

Set the Insert Header Row as Footer indicator.

The header row is then repeated as a footer row in the Internet planning book.

Header Information in Drilldown Mode

If you want your external partner to be able to configure the header information in the Internet planning book, set the Activate Shuffler/Setting of Header Information indicator.

If you do not want to activate this function, define the header information of the planning view (on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Demand Planning Next navigation step Planning Next navigation step Interactive Demand Planning Next navigation step Settings Next navigation step Header Information End of the navigation path ).

Choose the characteristics for which you want to enable drill down and select the Changeable indicator.

To make this setting, you need to be logged on as an external user in the SAP APO system. Otherwise the settings have no effect.

Sorting the Data in Drilldown Mode

In the Pivot Sorting field, specify whether or not the user can use pivot sorting, and if so, how.

If you have activated pivot sorting and the user has drilled down on a characteristic, they can then switch between the following two displays in the Internet planning book by choosing :

Sorting of data by key figures

Sorting of data by the drill-down characteristic (such as product)

Number of Rows in Drilldown Mode

In the Rows in Drilldown field, specify how many rows should be displayed in the drilldown mode.

You should specify a value here especially if the user uses planning books or selections with a large amount of data. If no value has been defined, the entire Internet planning book is displayed.

By setting the number of rows, you also activate the page function for the user, who then has the following options:

or to go to one row higher or lower

or to go to one page higher or lower

or to go to the start or end of the planning book

The user can also navigate directly to a page by entering the page number and choosing the icon with the quick info Go to Page X . .

Header Rows in Drilldown Mode

Set the Repeat Header Row in Drilldown indicator.

The header row is then shown in the Internet planning book between the objects for which the user has carried out a drill down.

Width of the Selection Box and Descriptive Text

You can define the width of the selection box and of the descriptive text for selection criteria. The standard values are optimized for the 1024x768 resolution.
