 Service Fill Categories

The following table gives an overview of the service fill categories that the service fill monitor can assign to sales order items.

Service Fill Category

Planned or Unplanned Business Process

Relationship Between Locations

Default (FF)

Planned

The executing service fill location is the customer-facing location.

Redirected (RD)

Planned

The executing service fill location is the first stockholding location, the first stockholding location is not the customer-facing location.

Redirected then referred (RR)

Unplanned

The executing service fill location is the second or more stockholding location, the first stockholding location is not the customer-facing location.

Referred (RF)

Unplanned

The executing service fill location is the second or more stockholding location, the first stockholding location is the customer-facing location.

Supply chain service fill (SF)

Independent from the type of business process

Service fill result refers to all locations in the supply chain.

The service fill monitor always assigns the sales order items to the service fill categories Default and Supply Chain Service Fill . The service fill monitor assigns sales order items to the remaining service fill categories depending on the following:

  • Whether the business process is planned or unplanned

  • The relationship between the executing service fill locationand the following locations:

    • Customer-facing location

    • First stockholding location

    • Further stockholding locations
