 Definition of Location Exclusion Rules

Use

If you want to exclude locations from stocking, you can define exclusion reasons and assign them to specific locations.

Features

If you have defined an exclusion reason for a location and the reason applies to a product, the system excludes stocking of this product at this location.

Activities

Define Exclusion Reasons

You can create exclusion reasons in Customizing under Define Exclusion Reasons for Locations . Exclusion reasons could be characteristics like “pilferable” or “heavier than 10 tons”.

For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Advanced Planning and Optimization under Start of the navigation path Supply Chain Planning Next navigation step Service Parts Planning (SPP) Next navigation step Inventory Planning Next navigation step Define Exclusion Reasons for Locations End of the navigation path .

Assign Exclusion Reasons

You can assign one of the exclusion reasons defined in Customizing to certain locations and define exclusion rules for certain locations on the SAP Easy Access screen under Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Service Parts Planning (SPP) Next navigation step Planning Next navigation step Inventory Planning Next navigation step Stocking/Destocking Next navigation step Location Exclusion Rules End of the navigation path .

Exclusion rules can, for example, be made up of a maximum allowed weight or a maximum allowed price.
