
If you have already defined subscriptions for a particular category, you can reuse them for additional work items. This might be useful if a new Workflow is set up in your system and users are also to be notified about its work items as well, for example.
If these additional work items are to be selected at the same time, add the relevant single-step tasks to the existing selection.
If the additional work items are to be selected at a different time, define a new selection with a different schedule. It might be useful to have a different schedule for selection in this case to help distribute the system load better. To be able to use the existing subscriptions for the new selection, specify the category on which the subscriptions are based in the new selection.
Extending an Existing Selection
Open the existing selection in the administration application.
On the Tasks tab page, specify the additional single-step tasks.
Defining a New Selection
Create a new selection in the administration application.
On the Basic Data tab page, select the category on which the existing subscriptions are based.
On the Schedule tab page, define the schedule for the selection.
