Use

The deliverer defines how mail messages are delivered. SAPoffice is the default deliverer.

Reliability

You can specify the level of reliability offered by the deliverer. This is then compared to the level of reliability that is requested by the category . If the deliverer can offer the required level of reliability, the delivery is made at this level. If not, the delivery is made with the next best level of reliability.

Support of Groupware Functions

If you want the mail messages to be formatted by your Groupware before they are delivered, you can specify a dispatcher. As a result, the mail messages are not delivered to the relevant users directly, but to the dispatcher, as explained in the following example:

Example

For example, you want to convert the mail messages to Microsoft Outlook messages with voting buttons. To do so, specify Internet Mail as the dispatcher address type and an Exchange Mailbox address as the dispatcher address. An agent can then use this address to convert the mail message to a special Exchange message format. SAP does not provide the agent software.

Message Recall Required

You can specify whether mail messages are automatically recalled if the work item is no longer assigned to the agent concerned. The only prerequisite is that the deliverer supports message recalling. The default deliverer SAPoffice does not support this function.

It only makes sense to specify recalling for individually delivered notifications and not for collective messages.
