Defining Model-Profile PropertiesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You can define properties that provide information about your model file. These user-defined properties may include attributes such as Created by , Group , Language , Domain and others. In addition, you can add properties as needed.

Procedure


  1. On the Design board, at the top level of your model, click the Configure button in the task-panel toolbar. The Configure Element task panel is displayed, with a table of properties and their values at the bottom. Certain of the properties - such as Language , for example - may already have default values assigned to them.

  2. View the properties and enter values, or change existing ones as needed.

  3. To add a value:

    1. Click the Add button at the bottom right. The Model Properties dialog box is displayed.

    2. From the drop-down list in the Name field, choose the property that you want to add to the profile.

    3. In the Value field, enter the value of the property.

    4. Click OK . The newly-defined property is displayed in the task-panel table.
