Copying and Pasting Between ModelsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

The model containing the element that you want to copy is open in Storyboard.

Context

You can copy a high-level element - iView, page or package - from one model, and paste it into another model.

Note

Be aware that images and global entry lists (both static and dynamic) cannot be included in the copy-paste.

Procedure


  1. In your model, select the element that you want to copy.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Copy End of the navigation path (or choose Copy from the context menu).

  3. Close the model and open the model into which you want to paste the element.

  4. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Paste End of the navigation path (or choose Paste from the context menu).
