Deleting Alerts
Alerts determined by the Alert Monitor
,
which you have processed and whose causes you have removed, are deleted automatically.
For performance reasons, you should regularly delete any alerts that you cannot,
or do not want to resolve from the database. You can delete individual alerts
directly in the Alert Monitor
by choosing Delete
Alerts
or using the context menu. If you want to delete more
than one alert at the same time, you can use this function.
Note
If you are working with SAP Advanced Planning and
Optimization
(SAP APO), you can only delete alerts that have
been saved to the database. Production Planning and Detailed
Scheduling
(PP/DS) alerts and dynamic macro-dependent alerts
are not saved in the database. These are determined from the SAP
liveCache
at runtime. These alerts are only removed from the Alert
Monitor
display when the problem has been resolved.
You can call up the deletion report in the overall profile for
the Alert Monitor
by choosing , or using transaction /SAPAPO/AMON_REORG
.
Alternatively, on the SAP Easy Access
screen,
choose .
You select the alerts to be deleted.
If you set the Simulation
indicator
and execute the report, the system displays the alerts selected for deletion.
If you do not set this indicator and execute the report, the system deletes
the selected alerts from the database.
