Heuristics for Sales Scheduling Agreement Processing

Use

In sales scheduling agreement processing you can carry out the admissibility checkand the feasibility checkusing heuristics in interactive or automated production planning .

Prerequisites

You have made the necessary settings in Customizing for Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO), under Start of the navigation path Supply Chain Planning Next navigation step Delivery Schedule Processing for Sales Scheduling Agreement. End of the navigation path

Features

The following table details the standard heuristics for sales scheduling agreement processing that are delivered by SAP.

Name

Description

Admissibility Check

SAP_CDS_A01

Admissibility OK Without Check

You can use this heuristic to mark new requested quantities (in other words, the new due delivery schedule) as admissible, without a check being carried out.

SAP_CDS_A02

Tolerance check

You can use this heuristic to compare the new requested quantities with the requested quantities that were valid at the time of the last confirmation.

For this tolerance check you can define an exact-to-the-day or to-the-second individual check or a totals check for planning calendar periods.

Feasibility Check

SAP_CDS_F01

Fully confirm without check

You can use this heuristic to confirm requested quantities without a check if all sales scheduling agreement items for a product have an admissible current status or if there is a planning file entry for the feasibility check.

SAP_CDS_F02

Days’ supply check

You can use this heuristic to carry out a days’ supply check , for the quantities requested by the customer if all sales scheduling agreement items for a product have an admissible current status or if there is a planning file entry for the feasibility check.

SAP_CDS_F03 Product heuristic with days’ supply check

You can use this heuristic to carry out the product heuristic followed by a days’ supply check , for the quantities requested by the customer if all sales scheduling agreement items for a product have an admissible current status or if there is a planning file entry for the feasibility check.
