APO Sales Scheduling Agreement Outline agreement against which materials are procured at predefined points in time over a certain period.
The vendor receives scheduling agreement (SA) releases (in the form of operative delivery schedules or forecast/planning delivery schedules) that contain information about which materials or products he or she should deliver, and on which dates.
Sales scheduling agreements can be transferred from the SAP R/3 system (or an OLTP system) via the APO Core Interface (CIF) to the SAP APO system and entered as master data.
The following types of sales scheduling agreements exist in SAP APO:
APO sales scheduling agreement
Sales scheduling agreement with external agent (EA)
(
EA Scheduling Agreement)
JIT scheduling agreement

As of
SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70
it is possible to transfer EA scheduling agreements via the CIF. For JIT scheduling agreements you must have a SAP R/3 system with Release
DIMP 4.71.
JIT scheduling agreements with processing by an external agent is not possible.
In master data maintenance you can view a list of last deliveries for all sales scheduling agreements or a list of issues by external agent relating to EA scheduling agreements.
