 Configuring the HTTP CacheLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

You configure the HTTP cache using the Visual Administrator tool:

  1. Open the Properties tab of HTTP Provider Service running on the server process.
  2. Edit any of the following properties:
    If you want to Then

    Set the maximum number of files that can be kept in the cache

    Assign a value to the CacheSize property. It must be a positive integer number.

    Set a limit to the size of a file that can be written to the cache

    Assign a value to the MaxFileLengthForCache property. The file length is specified in bytes.

These properties are global and are applied to the caches of all virtual hosts on the J2EE Engine that cache HTTP responses. For more information about enabling caching on a virtual host, see Managing Virtual Hosts Caches .
