 Renaming an EARLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Use this procedure to change the name and the location of the archive. The original one will be moved to the new position under the new name.

Procedure
  1. Choose the Assembler tab
  2. Choose the EAR component.
  3. Choose Assemble → Rename EAR. The Enter Archive Name dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the new name of the archive. From the file system, select the file path of the component. For more information, see File Chooser Window .
    Note

    If you change the name of a component, the original one is deleted. Only the component with the new name and location is saved.

  5. Save your entries.
