Use

The Runtime tab of the Web Services Container service enables you to manage the registries used by the UDDI client.

Prerequisites
  • Deployed and started Web serviceson the J2EE Engine.
  • The sap.com/com.sap.engine.services.webservices.tool application is deployed and started. By default, it is deployed during the installation time.
  • Configured HTTP Proxy Server Settings

    These settings are used by the UDDI registries and by the Web service clients if they have notalready been configured in the logical ports .

Procedure

To manage the UDDI registries, choose UDDI Client.

If You Want To Then

Make a new registry
  1. Choose New Registry.
  2. In the Registry Name field, enter the name of the new UDDI registry. This name is unique for each registry.
  3. In the Inquiry URL field, enter the URL of the UDDI registry, to which the inquiries are sent, according to the Inquiry UDDI API.
  4. In the Publish URL field, enter the URL, to which the publish requests are sent, according to the Publish UDDI API. Typically the URL prefix for the publish request is https.
  5. Choose Save to save the configuration for the new UDDI registry.

Edit an existing registry
  1. From Available Registries, select an existing UDDI registry and choose Edit Registry.
  2. Enter the necessary data in the Inquiry URL, Publish URL fields. Note that you cannot edit the Registry Name field. The name of the UDDI registry is unique and if you want to edit it, remove the current UDDI registry and create a new one with the name you want.
  3. Choose Save.

Remove an existing UDDI registry

Select the UDDI registry you want to remove and choose Remove Registry.
