Editing the General Properties

1. Click the General tab.
2. Enter the name of the resource adapter vendor in the Vendor Name field.
3. Enter the version of the connector architecture specification supported by the resource adapter in the Specification Version field.
4. Specify the type of the Enterprise Information System in the EIS Type field. This information can be a product name. It helps to identify which EIS instance can be used with this resource adapter.
5. Specify the version of the resource adapter in the Version field.
6. If a license is required to deploy and use the resource adapter, select the Is License Required checkbox. Otherwise leave it empty.
7. If a license is required, enter a short description in the License Description field.
8. Specify the fully qualified class name of the managed connection factory in the Managed Connection Factory Class field.
9. Specify the fully qualified name of the connection factory interface supported by the resource adapter in the Connection Factory Interface field.
10. Specify the fully qualified class name in the Connection Factory Impl Class field.
11. Specify the fully qualified name of the connection interface supported by the resource adapter in the Connection Interface field.
12. Specify the corresponding fully qualified name of the connection class in the Connection Impl Class field.
13. Specify the level of the transaction support provided by the connector archive in the Transaction Support field.
