Use

This key figure contains a general summary of the cost structure of a product in the same way as the condition type VPRS can be derived in CO-PA (see SAP note no. 547570). The condition type can be used to update manufacturing costs and an overall internal value in CO-PA.

The overall internal value supports sales planning and specification of targets, since margins can be calculated independently of fluctuating manufacturing costs. The prerequisite is that the condition type VPRS is assigned the condition category S. This ensures that the field MBEW-STPRS (standard price) is referenced in the SD billing document for the condition type VPRS.
