Replenishment Workbench
Using this component, you can display and process the results of the automatic replenishment process. You can check, control, and adjust the results of the replenishment process for stores and distribution centers. The results include exceptions and order proposals that SAP F&R was not able to release automatically during the automatic replenishment process. This gives you the opportunity to check and correct the results before you transfer order proposals to the purchasing system.
To process order proposals, the replenishment process must be completed in SAP F&R.
Worklist
To check the order proposals, you need various information in the worklist, such as header data, status, occurrences of demand influencing factors (DIFs), and exceptions. You can adapt the worklist to suit your requirements. For more information, see:
You can display restrictions, exceptions, and time series in separate subscreens. These screens are identical in all workbenches in order proposal management. For more information, see General Screens in Order Proposal Management.
You have access to various applications and logs. For more information, see General Functions in the OPM Workbenches.
You can create new order proposals and edit existing ones. The following functions are available for editing order proposals:
Copy order proposals
For more information, see Creating Order Proposals (RWB).
Split order proposals
For more information, see Splitting an Order Proposal.
Group order proposals
For more information, see Grouping Order Proposals.
Lock order proposals
For more information, see Locking an Order Proposal.
You can create and edit notes for order proposals.
Note
When a product is not planned automatically – that is, it is not contained in any order proposal – this may be because certain configurable, critical criteria are assigned to that product. In this case, you plan the product in the Product Workbench. For more details, see Product Workbench.
The following functions cannot be executed in the Replenishment Workbench:
Simulation of forecasts and replenishment (what-if analysis) for different parameter settings
Interactive execution of forecasting and replenishment (for example, recalculation of an individual item)
Display of corrected historical time series (outliers, corrections of stockouts) and highlighting of modified values
Workflow-controlled check of exceptions
Check of special authorizations for replenishment planners at certain organizational levels (for example, location, location group, product group)
Sorting of exceptions for store associates in a planogram-based sequence
