Maintaining Context Menus The Supply Chain Cockpit allows you to manage the knowledge and information assets of your business organization. It is a tool for global information aggregation. It enables you to measure your business performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) that are stored in the SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW).
In order to make it easier to gather information, you can customize the cascading menus that are attached to the APO planning objects. You can create a menu displaying BW KPIs (performance data that is saved in SAP BW).
As a supply chain planner you may want to have quick, regular access to specific data such as customer service to help you track the status of your plan and measure performance.
You must have maintained a working APO model containing master and transactional data on products, PPMs, locations, resources, and transportation lanes.
You have access to SAP BW for KPIs. You must define a BW destination in the following APO Customizing step: Define default BW destination (RFC)
