 Reservation Release Report

Use

You use this report to release reservations with a release date in the past. Using this report, you can:

  • Display a list of capacity reservations that can be released as on current date

  • Release any capacity reservations pending release

    You can release any capacity reservations where the reservation release date is over. The system releases the reserved capacities for all buckets with the reservation release date in the past. The released capacity is added to the collective allocation to be used by all.

Activities

  • To display a list of capacity reservations that need to be released:

    1. From SAP menu, choose Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Resource Next navigation step Report to Release Capacity Reservations End of the navigation path .

    2. Choose Display Release Info checkbox and then Execute.

  • To release capacity reservations:

    1. From SAP menu, choose Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Resource Next navigation step Report to Release Capacity Reservations End of the navigation path .

    2. Choose Execute .

      A dialog box appears and prompts you to confirm whether you would like to release the capacity reservations. If you choose yes, the system releases all the capacity reservations where reservation release date < current date.
