 Displaying the Results of Reorder-Point-Based Planning

Use

You can display the planning resultsof reorder-point-based planning, just like the planning results of period-based planning, in the DRP matrix . However, since reorder-point-based planning is static, i.e. not time-based, the system does not display the key figures of the DRP matrix for the individual DRP planning periods. The DRP matrix of a location product planned on a reorder-point basis consists of just one column, which contains the planning results.

You get to the DRP Matrix screen from the SAP Easy Access screen under Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Service Parts Planning (SPP) Next navigation step Planning Next navigation step Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) End of the navigation path .

You can display and change the documentsgenerated by DRP on the basis of reorder-point-based planning on the External Procurement – Delivery Schedule Maintenance screen.

You get to this screen on the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Service Parts Planning (SPP) Next navigation step Planning Next navigation step Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) Next navigation step Scheduling Agreement Releases End of the navigation path .

Displaying Planning Results in the DRP Matrix

If you plan a location product in reorder-point-based planning mode, the system displays the following additional key figures in the DRP matrix:

You can only display and not process or change these key figures.

  • Reorder Point

    This is the value you specified in the location product master data on the SPP DRP tab in field Reorder Point.

  • Maximum Stock Level

    The system only displays this key figure if you have set the Round to maximum stock level indicator on the SPP DRP tab in the location product master data. In this case the key figure contains the maximum stock level defined in the Maximum Stock Level field on the SPP DRP tab in the location product master data.

  • Additional Demand (BAdI)

    The system displays this key figure only if you have implemented the Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Determine Additional Quantities for Reorder-Point-Based Planning (/SAPAPO/ROP_ADDITIONAL_QTYS).

  • Additional Receipt (BAdI)

    The system displays this key figure only if you have implemented the BAdI BAdI: Determine Additional Quantities for Reorder-Point-Based Planning (/SAPAPO/ROP_ADDITIONAL_QTYS).

Displaying Documents on the External Procurement – Delivery Schedule Maintenance Screen

The documents generated by DRP as the result of reorder-point-based planning, just like all other documents generated by DRP, can be viewed on the External Procurement – Delivery Schedule Maintenance screen. You can recognize a document as the result of reorder-point-based planning by the entry with the quick info Reorder Point Based in the MB column.
