Alert for PP/DS Bucket Overload
Use
If you want to take into account sequence-dependent setup activities when planning (using a
bucket factor
in the form of a capacity reduction), then implement the alert for the
PP/DS bucket overload
. The system then triggers an alert if the PP/DS bucket overloads. As a rule, the available capacity of the PP/DS bucket capacity is less than the available capacity of the time-continuous capacity. If the available capacity of the time-continuous capacity approaches 100%, the PP/DS bucket capacity will be frequently overloaded.
Prerequisites
You have set the
Resource Utilization in Bucket (PP/DS)
indicator in the
PP/DS
Alert Profile
to activate this alert type.
Features
The system will automatically issue an alert if the capacity load of a PP/DS bucket exceeds 100%. You can also specify threshold values in the PP/DS alert profile to assign specific priorities to the alert if the overload exceeds certain values. See also: Application-Specific Alert Profiles
