 Execution of “Adjust Phase-Out Forecast” Planning Service

Purpose

In the Adjust Phase-Out Forecast planning service, the system compares the values of the phase-out forecast of the previous year on location product level with the actual historical data of that year to adjust the forecast values.

Process

  1. The system calculates the difference between the values of the actual demand history and the values of the phase-out forecast for the previous year.

  2. The system calculates the average of these difference values.

  3. The system recalculates the phase-out forecast of the previous year and the current year based on this average value.

  4. The system adjusts the phase-out profile to the recalculated phase-out forecast.
