URL Integration of External Shipment Tracking Systems
SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC) provides an integration to external shipment tracking systems provided by carriers as follows: Some of the carriers provide their customers with a Web-based access to order information. If a carrier offers order tracking on the Internet,
customers can track the status of their shipment by navigating from the Shipment Details
screen of SAP SNC to the external shipment tracking system of the carrier. This enables customers to track the shipping status of the products they have ordered.
Prerequisites
You have activated the business function Supply Network Collaboration 1 (SCM_SNC_GEN_1
).
The appointed carrier offers an order tracking service. The carrier has provided the URL of his or her shipment tracking system.
In addition, you have implemented the CARRIER_TRKURL
method of the Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Processing of Shipments
(/SCA/SHIPMENT_BOL

Features
You can access the shipment tracking details of the carrier on the Shipment Details
screen by clicking the Tracking Shipment
link in the Carrier Tracking URL
field on the Shipping Details
tab
page.
