 Replicating a DataSource from SAP ERP to SAP SCM

Replicating a DataSource
  1. In the SCM system, open the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction RSA1 ).

  2. In the navigation tree, choose the Source Systems entry under Modeling.

  3. Under SAP choose the ERP system in which you have created the DataSource.

  4. Choose Replicate DataSources in the context menu (right mouse button) of this system. The replication can take some time.

Creating a Transformation
  1. In the navigation tree, under Modeling, choose the DataSourcesentry.

  2. In the context menu of the replicated DataSource choose Create Transformation.

  3. A dialog box appears. In the Target of the Transformation area, select the object type Data Store Object and data store object 9AEQBOM . Save your entries.

  4. The system displays the newly created transformation in the right screen area. Create the following connections by selected the desired row on the left, holding down the mouse button and dragging the cursor right into the desired row:

    • from EQUNR (pos. 1) to 0EQUIPMENT (pos. 1)

    • from MENGE (pos. 6) to 9AQTYCOEFF (pos. 3)

    • from IDNRK (pos. 7) to 0MATERIAL (pos. 2)

  5. Save the transformation.

Creating a Data Transfer Process
  1. In the navigation tree, under Modeling, choose the DataSourcesentry.

  2. In the context menu of the replicated DataSource choose Create Data Transfer Process.

  3. A dialog box appears. Enter the name of the data transfer process and, in the Target of DTP area, choose the object type Data Store and data store object 9AEQBOM .

  4. Confirm your entries and activate the newly created data transfer process.

Creating an InfoPackage
  1. In the navigation tree, under Modeling, choose the DataSourcesentry.

  2. In the context menu of the replicated DataSource, choose Create InfoPackage .

  3. A dialog box appears. Enter a name for the InfoPackage and choose Save.

Executing a Data Retrieval
  1. Double-click to call up the newly created InfoPackage.

  2. In the right screen area, enter how you wish to schedule the InfoPackage on the Schedule tab page and press Start.

  3. Double-click to call up the newly created data transfer process.

  4. In the right screen area, choose Execute on the Execute tab page.

  5. In the navigation tree, under Modeling, choose the InfoProvider entry.

  6. In the context menu of data store object 9AEQBOM , choose Manage .

  7. In the right screen area, choose Activate on the Requests tab page.
