Initialize RDA for Maintaining Historical Data To maintain historical data for Service Parts Planning (SPP), you must initialize Real-time Data Acquisition (RDA) of SAP NetWeaver usage type Business Intelligence for the InfoProvider being used. In the standard system these are the InfoProviders 9ADEMMUL and 9ARAWMUL. If you use your own InfoProviders, you must carry out the initialization for them. If you want to simulate the data realignment of the demand history, for example, you must carry out the initialization for the copied InfoProvider as well.
You have transferred and activated the InfoProviders 9ADEMMUL and 9ARAWMUL.
You execute the
Initialize Data Realignment of Demand History
IMG activity for each of the InfoProviders in use.
For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for
Advanced Planning and Optimization
under

Initialize Data Realignment of Demand History
.
In the application log (transaction SLG1), you check whether the initialization was successful.
Make sure that the DataSources, InfoSources and update rules being are not in the emulated version (3.x format). If the DataSources, InfoSources or update rules being used are still in the emulated version, then delete them.
In the
Administrator Workbench
screen (transaction RSA1) you create transformations between the DataStore objects and the DataSources. To do so, proceed as follows:
Select the required DataStore object.
Open the context menu for this DataStore object (right mouse click).
Choose
Create Transformation...
Define the parameters as described below.
Accept the rules suggested by the system.
Link the fields of the DataSource with the InfoObjects of the DataStore object. Note the following:
The field names must match the InfoObject names.
For characteristics and key figures the rule type must be set to
Direct Assignment.
For key figures the type of aggregation must be set to
Totaling
.
Do not create any rules for the fields FCSTABLE and RECORDMODE.
Save and activate the transformation.
If you are using InfoProviders 9ADEMMUL and 9ARAWDAT, create the following transformations:
Transformation between the DataStore object 9ADEMCRT and the DataSource 9ADEMCRT
Transformation between the DataStore object 9ARAWCRT and the DataSource 9ARAWCRT
Specify the DataStore object as the target of the transformation and the DataSource as the source. Select your own system as the source system.
On the
Administrator Workbench
screen, create data transfer processes. To do so, proceed as follows:
Select the required DataStore object.
Open the context menu for this DataStore object.
Choose
Create Data Transfer Process.
Define the parameters as described below.
Save and activate the DTP.
If you are using InfoProviders 9ADEMMUL and 9ARAWDAT, create the following DTPs:
DTP for DataSource 9ADEMCRT and DataStore object 9ADEMCRT
DTP for DataSource 9ARAWCRT and DataStore object 9ARAWCRT
For DTP type select
Standard (Can Be Scheduled).
Specify the DataStore object as the target of the DTP and the DataSource as the source. Select your own system as the source system.
You create the following InfoPackages:
One InfoPackage for each of the DataSources 9ADEMCRT and 9ARAWCRT with the update mode
Initialize Delta Process
and
Init Simulation Without Data Transfer
Run these InfoPackages.
One RDA InfoPackage for each of the DataSources 9ADEMCRT and 9ARAWCRT.
Create one RAD InfoPackage by setting the
Real Time Data Acquisition InfoPackage
indicator. For these InfoPackages copy the settings suggested by the system. Furthermore, assign a daemon for
Real-time Delta
to each one.

Creating InfoPackages
You assign the ID of each DTP that you created in step 4 to the InfoPackages that have been created.
Start the daemons that you assigned to your InfoPackages in step 5. To do so, proceed as follows:
In the
Monitor: Real-Time Data Acquisition
(transaction RSRDA) screen select the desired daemon.
Open the context menu, choose
Daemon Settings
and ensure that in the
Period [Min]
field the value is 0001.
Start the daemon from the context menu by choosing the
Start Daemon with All InfoPackages
entry.
