Process documentation Graphics: Deleting Objects   Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Note

Objects are physically deleted from the system, not just deleted from the graphic.

Deleting an entity type

       1.      Select the entity type.

       2.      Choose Edit Delete. A dialog box appears.

       3.      Confirm the dialog box.

       4.      If references still exist, they are displayed in a list.

If you double-click on a reference, the corresponding screen (definition or hierarchy) is displayed. Delete the reference there.

Return to the list and repeat the procedure until all the references are deleted.

       5.      If dependent objects still exist, they are displayed in a list.

       6.      6.      If you wish to delete the entity type and its dependent objects, choose Delete.

You are returned automatically to the graphic. The deleted entity type has now disappeared from the graphic.

Deleting a relationship

       7.      Select the relationship.

       8.      Choose Edit Delete. A dialog box appears.

       9.      3.      Confirm that you wish to delete by choosing Cont. The relationship is deleted and disappears from the graphic.

Deleting a specialization category

If there are no specializations assigned to the specialization category, proceed as follows:

   10.         Select the specialization category.

   11.      Choose Edit Delete. A dialog box appears.

   12.      Confirm that you wish to delete by choosing Cont.

Otherwise, the procedure is the same as that described for deleting references in Deleting an entity type.

Deleting a specialization

   13.         Select the specialization (the blue line between the specialization category and the corresponding entity type).

   14.         Choose Edit Delete. A dialog box appears.

   15.      Confirm that you wish to delete by choosing Cont. The specialization is deleted and disappears from the graphic.
