The ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) is the new standard tool for ABAP quality testing. This section explains how to use the ATC if you are an ABAP developer — the person whose code and other ABAP repository objects gets checked by the ATC.

Process

There are two ways in which you can use the ATC as a developer:

  • Do your own local ATC checks directly in your development system. The ATC is integrated into all of the major transactions of the ABAP Workbench (SE80, SE24, SE37, SE38, SE11); you can do local checks without leaving your work transactions.

  • Work with central ATC quality checks that have been published to your development system by the quality manager.
