Rolling up Tier Demands from Lower Levels of the BOD to the Child Location
In multi-level tier processing, the system uses as recursive algorithm to roll up tier demands from level n +1 of the Bill of Distribution (BOD) (n ≥ 2) to the tier demands on level n.
Process
The graphic above shows how the tier demands are rolled up in the recursion described above.
The tier demands from level n+1 are considered in the calculation of the tier demands on level n.
The tier demands from level n are then considered in the calculation of the tier demands on level n-1.
