You use this interface to import product master data from other systems into SAP F&R.

Integration

  • You can use a Business Add-In (/FRE/IF_CON_BADI_005) to enrich and change the imported product data. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Forecasting and Replenishment under Start of the navigation path Interfaces Next navigation step Enhancements Using Business Add-Ins Next navigation step BAdI: Product Data Enrichment End of the navigation path.

  • If SAP F&R transfers identical ID numbers for different products from a sending system, you can use a Business Add-In (APO_BAPI_BUS10001) to identify the products uniquely. For more information, see Product Type Identification for Inbound Products.

Prerequisites

In the sending system, you have defined which products you wish to export to SAP F&R.

Features

You can import the following product data:

  • Basic data

  • Product descriptions (language-dependent texts)

  • Units of measure

Activities

  1. The integrated sending system starts the transfer and calls appropriate function module for the interface in SAP F&R. For more information, see the Overview of the Interfaces in SAP F&R.

  2. You then post the data in SAP F&R.
